Description

Deoch 'N' Dorus is the best Scottish traditional CD to come my way this year. The standards of playing and arrangement are superb, as befits alumni of the RSAMD. Music to make you realise quite why the tradition still lives.

"Rattling good stuff overall and a very impressive debut CD". Living Tradition Magazine.

Andrew MacPherson, Stuart Cameron and Simon Moran draft in a few equally talented pals and rip through some astounding tune sets, soar through some slow airs, and present an excellent Gaelic singer too.

Deoch 'n' Dorus were formed in 2001 when they met on the R.S.A.M.D. traditional music course in Glasgow. Their musical styles and interests gelled instantly and they have gone on to become favourites on the cèilidh and festival scenes.

Stuart Cameron - Accordion (Midi Bass) and 2nd accordion, Simon Moran - Fiddle,
Andrew Macpherson - Drums, Bodhran, whistle and Highland bagpipe.
